This new area of artistic research explores nature based, foraged, hand-made art materials. My area of investigation, using traditional techniques and recipes as inspiration, uses foraged plants and minerals to create usable mediums. I am interested in exploring nature through materials and processes in my work. Shown here are a selection of photographs documenting the plant based processes and finished mediums that were created throughout the course of this residency, as well as an educational video (shown above or here).
