This is documentation of my ongoing research based around repurposing foraged materials from nature into handmade art materials and mediums. Using traditional techniques such as paper making, pigment extraction and ink, charcoal and paint making I am investigating the potentiality of foraged matter as a usable resource for my arts practice.
This process begins with the act of foraging and collecting, the observation of nature and the seasons. Then the harvested materials are used for experimentation into their ability to create usable mediums and papers. The outcome for this project is still being explored.
